Default is this the correct ram?

Hey im running on a Qosmio G35 AV-600 with 1048 PC4200 DRR2 533 SDRAM. i wanna upgrade the Ram from 2x512 to 2x2048. I Know my laptop supports up to 4gb of ram and i was wondering if http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...583&CatId=2364 this is a good option, let alone the correct type of ram to use. I wanna stay fairly cheap but i do not really wanna compromise quality.

you need laptop memory in a laptop:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati....asp?CatId=150

pick any memory, as long as it's ddr2 and pc4200 or faster.
i'd say, go for 2x 1gb.. 4 gb is overkill for a simple laptop.

That's the memory you're looking at?

If so, then yes, it's correct but you need it for a laptop. You just have to make sure the speeds (the "PC4200 DDR2 533MHz" part) matches when you buy RAM and that it is for a laptop, not a desktop. Laptop memory is a different size than regular, desktop memory. Just want to make that clear, since I almost missed the laptop part when I read it. Lol.

If those RAM modules have heat sinks, you may want to be sure the RAM will fit in the slot in your laptop. Mine has two slots, but they lay on top of each other, so anything with a heatsink won't fit.

Just a word of caution.
