Looked through newegg and I couldn't decide what to get.

Maybe this would be more appropriate in the Hardware forum.

I have used a RadioShack Hi Def headset for several years and am very happy with it... I have traveled the world with it more than once and put it through allot of use; the best part is I got it for $19.99 on sale. Check it out if you get the chance.

Can't go far wrong with Logitech for quality products at low prices. Try these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106935 only $18.99

I got a Skype headset from WalMart. 15 bucks, worked better than I would ever have expected.

If you can squeeze out a little more cash, the eDimensional headset is the best I've used, sound and comfort wise.

You can buy online at tigerdirect.com for less than direct.

I bought these a while ago, they are nice.

Though, they seriously do cancel ambient noise, you can barely hear anything unless it's loud or directly into the mic. I don't really like that, but some people do.

i have same pair

they r nice

its open-ear design
meaning no contact between the ear piece and ur ear
so u can fully hear other surroundings (unless u blast it loud)

reason i wanted an open-ear headest
is so i can use my speakers (and hear em at teh same time) for music

tho it isnt usb
so if u want to do that, u'll need 2 sound devices
(i have a soundcard + onboard sound)

Personally i use one of these.

Any bluetooth headset will work but i find that to be the most comfortable.
For the best set-up results replace the bluetooth drivers in windows with bluesoleil.

The advantage of running a bluetooth headset is you you still use your pc speakers for game sounds and/or music.
