Default Boot Problem

Hi guys, need your help regarding my pc. Everytime i boot my pc beeps 2x then says forced boot problem check cable and settings...

I checked the cables and reconnected it and it will start normally but the prob will recur again after a cold boot.

It just started when i installed a new razer lachesis mouse. Checked their website and installed new firmware updates but still the prob persists.

My pc is dell xps 400.
intel pentium d 3g
1gig ram
windows xp
NVIDIA 7300 LE

Hope someone here can help, thanks in advance...

Pls move this thread if it's in the wrong section, sorry for the inconvenience.

If you unplug the razer, does the problem go away?

And, if it does go away, my guess would be that there is too much initial load on the USB ports DC-wise. If so, you may have to unplug some other USB devices or get a powered USB hub or try plugging some USB devices into other ports.

It goes away but sometimes even if i unplugged it and my other USB devices during boot the prob persists. I'll try to check w/Quaker's suggestion if the prob will go away. Thanks!
