As of 8 months ago when I put my machine together, I've had this weird "graphics lag" in guild wars. I run vista 64 with 8800 gt sli, 2x2 ddr2 800..

I've heard it's vista 64, I've heard it's sli, I've tried running with 1 card and still this problem. It's like whenever someone on the team gets spiked, the game lags for 2-3 seconds, then resumes and leaves a party member dead because I couldn't heal. It's not a "networking issue" this is a graphical problem I cannot solve. Also as of about 1 month ago, when I have gw open in a window, my computer will lock up.

Perhaps this is a ram issue? But every other game works fine, and I've never had issues with guild wars till I put my new pc together..

Please any ideas I cannot take this anymore? It is a graphical lag that the game pauses roughly every 5 minutes and leaves me unable to do anything, the sounds continues like people are getting attacking, and I can still cast but the graphics are lagged out?..

Are you sure it's not a networking issue? Because that's exactly what it sounds like to me...

If you think it is Vista64, you can try running in compatibility mode (I do because the colors are strange for some reason), also make sure you have the latest drivers installed.
