Default Wireless Card or USB adapter

seems to me lately i have been having extreme lag spikes that i havent had before and im pretty sure its due to me using 1 of those USB adapters instead of using a Wireless card for my computer.

So i guess my question is that is a wireless card that much better then using a USB adapter?

Yes, a card is much more reliable than a USB device when it comes to wireless.

Oh yes, you do not even know the trouble I have had with my USB adapter. I also have an xbox in my room so I need to bridge my connection, for a long time I was having so many problems with it.

So to answer your question, IMO a card is much better than a USB adapter.

Yes, an internal, dedicated wireless card will give you a better overall experience, however there is a great deal of difference in the quality of the USB adapters, some are much better than others. What one do you have btw?

yeah i got an internal PCI wireless card for my desktop and it works a lot better. Both were from Linksys, the USB adapter was the Compact Wireless - G USB Adapter, and i ended up getting the Linksys Wireless- G PCI Adapter. Since my network is a wireless G network, and no point in going Wireless N.
