Default Multiple Monitors

I recently have set up 2 monitors and I was wondering if it is possible to play Guild Wars and make use of both monitors (while having the the game running full screen). I would like to do this with my inventory and other menus so that they don't take up so much space on my primary monitor. Thanks!

What version of Windows are you running?

I am currently running windows 7. One monitor is VGA and the other is DVI if that makes a difference. Also, my graphics card is a Radeon HD 4650. Thanks again!

I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind, but it sounds as though you want to move only your GW menus to a separate monitor. I don't think that's possible.
If, on the other hand, you want to span the whole game (not just the menus) over two monitors, that may be possible.

any way to utilize both monitors during game play would be nice. I haven't really managed to do anything other than maximize the game on one monitor so far, or run the game in a windowed state, and use the other monitor for other purposes.

If you had 3 it would work out great. You'd make middle primary and the two side ones non primary, then put your UI on them, use the middle for the best view. If you only have two you'd have a line down the center in the form of the right and left sides of two monitors bezels, lol.

Technically, doesn't GW shell out of windows and go to *gasp* dos, unless it's run windowed?

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere already, but I've been searching the web for the last hour and I can't find a proper answer to my question. I'm hoping that someone here will know the answer. I just set up a Triple monitor display using 2 ATI 6870's(crossfire) and my computer has no hardware issues as far as running anything. My current resolution is 5760 x 1080.

I have also set it up so that GW spans across all 3 monitors, however, it simply zoomed in the game making it so that the image is the same as it would be seen on one monitor simply stretched out on all 3 and makes it so that when I try to zoom out, I can't go very far. When I first looked at setting this up I expected it to let me see further around me, not just zoom me in. I'm not sure if this makes any sense to anyone, but I'm hoping that some one will be able to help me here.

Simply put, I wanted to see further on either side, not zoomed into the game.

Normally, there's a limit to how far you can zoom out. This is probably tied to the basics of how the GW 3D engine works. So, yes, most likely you can only zoom out so far - as far as you could with one monitor -and that is then spread over 3 monitors. So, you are not "zoomed in" to the game, you have simply enlarged the entire picture (minus the vertical portions).
Or to look at it another way - if you were sitting at a desk with a 10" display (zoomed out all the way), everything would look very tiny. If you replaced the display with 1 24" monitor, staying zoomed out, the entire scene would look larger. When you then replace that with 3 monitors, it again gets even larger, except that the top and bottom are cropped.

Anyone know if there is a fix to this, imo, if this is the only way, I'd rather it be on one monitor. That's how I'm playing it for now, until I find out otherwise. Thank you for any help offered, its much appreciated.
