(These pics don't really do them any justice, but here goes...)

New monitor, got it yesterday ^_^ (Samsung SyncMaster T260 26" Wide LCD)

New speakers, got it today ^_^ (Logitech G51)

(I need a bigger desk )

And my wall, decided to upgrade it lol

@ Kela Ven Tori:

Love the keyboard hehe

Also if I may give advice, ALWAYS place your sub on the floor!

Placing the sub woofer close to a wall or near a corner will enhance the overall bass response.
This may help improve the response from bass-shy systems.

At the same time, a subwoofer placed close to a wall or corner may produce a less controlled bass response.
Hence, the ideal position is one that leads to a compromise between the quantity of bass output and quality of the bass sound.

As promised, here are some pics of my PC and my (messy) desk:

It actually looks alot worse on the picture than it really is lol

And here a pic from inside my PC. No glowies or anything, but its performance is awesome. I'll just rewrite the stats again:

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66 Ghz
Motherboard: Asus P5N-D (750i SLI chipset with 2x PCI-E @ 16 lanes)
Memory: 4 GB (2x2GB) Team Value - DDR2 6400 (800Mhz)
GPU: 2x MSI 8800 GTS 512
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 700W
Case: Thermaltake Soprano
HDD: Samsung 320 GB and external Freecom 400GB USB2 HDD
Screen: Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW 22" Widescreen
Keyboard: Logitech G15 Refresh
Mouse: Logitech G5 Laser Mouse

And yes, my graphic cards stay nice and cool even though they almost stick together, the fans on those are pretty damn good, even at 50%. Funny thing is, the top card usually stays cooler than the bottom one.

I was reading a report in PC Pro magazine that said something like 75% of the people with 5.1/7.1 systems don't actually use them. It's fine for a bona fide home cinema setup, but it's overkill for a desk-based PC. I had one of the original SB Live! surround systems back in '99, the rear speakers were on little plastic tripods that stood just behind your chair. Tripped over them a few times then binned them

I just use my 5.1 Headphones, because I have nowhere to put the rear speakers in my room, and I can't really use them anyway, my mum is alergic to noise! :P

The ones on my pic are just 2 normal speakers with a (small) sub, but haven't used them anymore lately.
