Default System Information Window Pop-up?

So I play guild wars in a window version because I like to have access to misc stuff like notepad/aim/etc. But there's one problem: when I press CTRL + ALT + S this window pops up:

Even when I run fullscreen mode it will actually minimize my GW and pop up that stupid thing. I know it's got to have something to do with my actual computer set up (Compaq Presario SR1000T) and not windows XP because I tried it with my comp. It must be a shortcut or something. Does anyone know how to disable it? As far as I know it's only happening with guild wars, but then again who presses those 3 buttons in other games? lol. Thanks

Why not just stop pressing those buttons?

you may even be able to adjust this setting in the BIOS. I think F10 is the default for compaq's to enter BIOS at startup.

......I was about to write a sentence about WHY those keys can easily be pressed down together if I'm not actively avoiding it, and then I thought "No, no one would give that sort of response"

CTRL: display names of enemies...easier to click on/see what's up ahead

ALT: display names of objects...much better way at finding chests

S: move backward

It's pretty logical to think that someone could have all 3 of those keys held down at some point.

Really? I've had compaqs ever since I made the change from my first computer (Mac LCII, lol) and I've only encountered this on my brand new (not even a year old yet), expensive computer. I tried googling for it to see if there's a way to disable it but apparently no one has really had this problem before, or at least mentioned it online.

Considering I've been playing for months, I would much rather change the computer's shortcut itself than the game...when I get used to something keyboard-wise it's hard to change lol. I guess I'll try to get into the bios how Deacon suggested and see if it can be changed...or spend 20 minutes on the phone with Compaq Support Thanks though, at least I know what's giving my computer that shortcut and can find some way to play around.

Default YAY I found out how to fix it!!!

HP online chat support kicks so much butt. The guy was great and told me exactly what to do, and now I'm passing on this info to anyone else who has/will have this problem:

The option is a part of HPSYSINFO.exe. Please perform these steps which will remove the CTRL+ALT+S key combination from HPSYSINFO.EXE utility:

Follow these steps to set the Recycle Bin properties:

1. Right-click on Recycle bin icon on the Desktop and select Properties.
2. Make sure the option "Do not move files to the Recycle bin" is UNCHECKED.
3. Click OK.

Now, search for the hidden files starting with "Hpsysinfo" in the C: drive. (Make sure you click the advanced search options & check 'search hidden files/folders') They are normally located in C:\HP\Support folder. Drag the two resulted files into the recycle bin. Press CTRL+ALT+S Keys. Let the computer search, then select the "delete the link" option. Extract the files from the recycle bin.

You can still retrieve the system information clicking on the "C:\HP\Support\hpsysinfo.exe" application, but the CTRL+ALT+S option is now disabled.

yes it does he just forgot to mention to hit "cancel" on the error window that pops up when the computer can't find the files due to the fact they are in the recycle bin... then the "delete missing shortcut" window will pop up and you hit "yes/ok"... then simply go into the recycle bin and restore those 2 files. problem solved

did I forget to mention I hate HP, if she brings another one home I am kicking her out :P and thanks bro if you still around cause that was annoying
