Default GW and the least CPU usage

I'm currently doing LDoA and thus I leave my PC on for the night each day. My concern is how can I possibly limit the CPU usage by guild wars (basically to reduce the noise caused by CPU cooling fans)? I launch the game with -noshaders, -nosound and -dx8 streaks and on the lowest possible graphics settings, but is there any othyer way to decrease GWs CPU usage?

Just minimize it. That will use a lot less power to run it.

Pretty much this. I used GWML running two clients to AFK on Wintersday and minimized, the comp ran cool. Also set the screen to shutoff in windows power settings, this will sleep the graphics card as well to keep cool.

One question - does your computer make less noise when GW isn't running?

Some fans in your computer may be running all the time, no matter what is happening.
