there's some specialized software that you can do that with but it will cost you a lot more than just getting a similar monitor.

on mine, i have to go into the ati control center (as i have an ati card, but im sure it'd work the same way with another card just different name prob) and it should be under your basic graphic options to discover monitors or set one as primary and such, it's been that way for my last 3 computers at least.

Do you mean like this?

If so, thats just an extended display which you can activate by going into the control panel.

What is your actual question??? Split in the middle??? Stair step???

You can tell Windows to have both monitors act as one virtual monitor - it's called 'extended desktop'. The monitors do not need to have the same resolution. And you have to designate one as the primary and one as the secondary. Right-click on your desktop and choose 'graphics properties' and follow the menu.

If you want to play 2 instances of GW at the same time, one on each monitor, you can do that. Search for a download on Guru or Wiki that allows you to do that. When you play 2 GW's, do not maximize the window on each monitor, but drag the corners of the window to fill the screen as much as possible. This way you can move your mouse from one monitor to the other and you can play 2 accounts at the same time very easily. This is what I do.

If your question relates to playing one GW instance on 2 monitors by stretching the window to cover both monitors, I think you will be disappointed.
