Default Run x2 Guild Wars Clients?

Is there anyway to do this without downloading a program to do this? If not, is there a safe program that everyone universally uses, like texmod? Perhaps even send me in the right direction to another thread that touches on the subject? Thanks in advance.

Guild Wars Multi-Launch can run 2 or more clients on the same machine.

It is open source, safe, and easy to use. You can run multiple clients on the same machine without using a program if you edit the registry and make copies that are renamed. There are methods to do that in other threads on this forum, but GWML is much easier.

Multi-Launcher has some problems with 64bit operating systems. If you are using a 32bit OS, it works great. I am so looking forward to them fixing the x64 reg issue.

i would deffinatley use GW multi launch. you can run about 5 gw clinets at once( hard on your comp but very possible) and it doesnt have alot of issues.
at least for vista just copy the gw file stuff into as many places as you have accounts and roll.. its that easy xD

Yes, I have downloaded a few different versions of it, none work for me. The issue is a registry issue, if Guild Wars is installed in c:/Program Files/ or the root (C:\) it works perfectly. However if Guild Wars is properly installed in C:\Program Files (x86) it does not work. Or at least the last version (0.
6RC_64bit) I downloaded did not work. I really wish it did.

Here is a quote from the readme:
* Fixed registry path setting for certain setups of Guild Wars on 64-bit oses (requires admin)
* It is strongly recommended not to install GW to "Programs Files (x86)" folder on 64-bit operating systems since this causes GW to set keys in the Wow6432Node node which requires admin access to write to.
I really don't want to move Guild Wars and have to fight with Direct Song again.

Please note - you can not run two instances of the same account at the same time.

That is to say, running 2 copies of GW at the same time is only useful if you have at least two different accounts - one to run in each. You can't log in to the same account more than once at a time.

I only mentioned this because of some other post where the poster wanted to run two characters off the same account, at the same time.

Other than that, the methods mentioned above will work fine.
