Default Guild Wars lag will not go...

I used to be able to play guild wars without any lag at like 100 ping for 2 years, then out of no where I can no longer play it.. Its at like 1000 ping every time I am on and it is unbearable..

My computer is
E Machines
T6534
AMD Athlon (Tm) 64 processor
3700+
2.21 GHz, 896 mb of RAM

Please help, I really want to play and enjoy this game once again.

Sudden changes in lag are seldom caused by the computer. If your computer seems to be working normally, and, especially, if the lag is only in some games/apps, it is usually a network issue. It could be a problem with your ISP, or it could be an issue anywhere along the route your packets take to get to GW.
Do you play other online games and do you notice lag in them too?
Do things take a long time to appear in your browser? (Not counting Guru )?

In that case, it's probably a network issue between you and GW servers. If you're lucky, it will clear itself up before long.
