Default Graphical effects lag behind my mouse

So, I just recently got a new computer, and since then any effects that are triggered by mouse position seem to be delayed. For instance if I turn my camera by right clicking and moving my mouse to the right the turn is delayed about 1/8th of a second. Or if I am draging a skill onto my bar, the skill will be detached from my cursor and lagging behind wherever I move it.

I cant attach the full dx diag due to size restrictions so...

Do you have mouse tails turned on?
Which video card are you using? Have you checked for and installed a new driver for your video card? If it is a fairly low end video card you may need to turn down your graphical settings.

I have a 9100, no mouse trails, and around 30fps.

Just to clarify, if I turn my camera with my keyboard no lag occurs. I have a logitech trackman

Ooh - that's one of them mouses what thinks it's a trackball!

Sweaty balls, maybe?

Seems odd that it only lags when controlling camera movement, not regular mouse movements. I'm a firm believer in deleting third party mouse software (the Logitech bumf in this case) then just letting Windows find the bugger.

Or is that just me?

(Edit) Me too, Rah!

I use a Microsoft Sidewinder (original release). I adore it, not only for performance, but because I have huge hands. ^_^

I'm thinking of upgrading to a 9800GTX+. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

that particular system doesn't have a strong enough power supply for the geforce 9800 GTX+. if you want to upgrade the graphics, you'll have to upgrade the power supply also.

not to mention, there are better graphic card options than the 9800GTX+. that card is over two years old now.
