Default It's like bloody molasses...

I'm not sure if anyone else has been encountering this or what, but something in one of the recent updates is causing me major issues.

Everything is now "slow".
Not like in traditional lag... Nothing is "skipping", nor am I getting a low framerate (typically ~6Ø FPS) or notably high ping (28Øms seems to be the high-end of my average, which has been typical with GW).

Rather, my character is now running as though he was wearing lead boots. Essentially, slower than they normally would when carrying a package, even when carrying nothing. In addition, camera now feels "floaty". As though there's some type of input lag. Basically, if I use the mouse to quickly pan the camera, it moves more slowly than it previously did and will "float" a very small distance after I stop moving.

Everything was fine a couple of weeks ago (last time I logged in, Nick was collecting Grawl necklaces), and I've changed nothing in my system, nor have I had problems with any other programs.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and any ideas as to what I can do? The game is basically unplayable like this...

sounds weird ---- have you defragged the gw.dat file? Or better yet run an -image command line over night.

I've had this before using 9800GTs in SLi setup. Uninstall and clean (use Driver Sweeper) your graphics card drivers, and install the newest available for your card(s).

Also, I updated my chipset drivers for my motherboard at the same time, and it seemed to clear up the issue. Very annoying issue, indeed.

Did the uninstall/Clean/Reinstall for the Graphics Drivers.
Also deleted the .dat and ran a full -image.

Problem still persists. :-\

I suppose I'll try the chipset drivers as well, though I don't expect that in itself will solve much. Any other ideas?

If it matters, the card is an nVidia 88ØØGTS series. Not running in SLI.
