Default Object pop-in and out

^topic. Any way to fix this? I keep having trees appear then disappear whenever I move around. Here are my specs:

GPU: Geforce GTX285
Processor: i7 920 quad
6 gigs RAM

that's normal. GW uses 2D sprites for objects far away, and will attempt to "blend" them back into 3D objects as you get closer. however, this transition isn't always smooth or unnoticeable, especially for higher end computers with large monitors.

Yeah I'm not getting 2D sprites at all. Just nothing and then 3D objects.

you could try deleting the gw.dat file and running the "-image" parameter to rebuild it and thereby eliminate any possible data corruption, which could be the cause of the problem.

Its nothing to worry about, its just how game engine speeds up your FPS. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to prevent it.
