Default Guru Cookies

Long story - shortened:

I use Firefox. I have Cookies set to "ask me every time". The other day I had to temporarily set it to "they expire" in order to do something on a tax related website (which didn't work, btw). After I was finished I set it back to "ask me every time", but none of my cookies seemed to work anymore. So I deleted all cookies to start over.

The problem is, I can't seem to get Guru (and some other sites) to log me in automatically any more. I suspect that I set some Cookie to "allow for session", that needs to be set to "allow"

Does anyone know exactly what Cookie or URL I'd need to "allow" to get Guru (and Guru2) to work?

Do as frodo said, or try to remake/make a new profile. I forget how to make a profile, but you might find it on google somewhere.

Well, yes, you'd think so, but.....

I have guildwarsguru.com set to "allow", but all the "bb" cookies still "expire at end of session" - even if I delete them, they show up again as ending at the end of the session (or the same day).
So it may be, as Frodo suggested, that I'll need to completely uninstall Firefox and reinstall.
However, I'm going to do a clean install of Windows7 (64-bit) soon, so I guess I'll just suffer until then.

EDIT - I may have found the answer. I had Firefox set to "Clear History", but I didn't realize that one of the check-boxes under that was "Cookies".
I unchecked that and it seems to work, but I'll know for sure if I can login automatically tomorrow.

Just to follow up - it is working now. Silly me, I thought "Clear history" would only clear the history.
