Default Resolution Issue

Hi on my comp im currently using 1280 x 1024 i can go as high as 1600 x 1200, for as long as i can remember ive been using guild wars with this comp in the same way as always and the screen reolution of the actual game was similar to my windows resolution, however today my comp went really wierd during a cutscene i acidently hit the windows key and my monitor kept flashing black no matter what i pressed it would not stop so i restarted my computer, now my guild wars screen looks waay bigger than it did for eample the party box could show 8 members with ease before and leave space between my rader and skills at the bottom but now it takes u pjust under a third of the screen and doesnt even show all 8 of my part members.

Anyone know the issue, persoanlly i would have guessed my video card screwed up but all the other things and games work the same as they did on my comp

Did you check what the in-game resolution was set at? It might have changed for whatever reason.

What he said, when GW detects that the resolution it set to is incompatible with your screen, the in-game resolution settings will automatically go back to 800x600.

I noticed this when i switched from my HDTV back to my laptop's monitor. TV resolution was set to something like 1186x672 in order to match it to the pixel, a resolution which was obviously not supported by the LCD display on the laptop itself. Automatic switch to 800x600.
