Default Resetting Resolution

When I boot up GW, my monitor displays "Out of Range" on the screen. I'm coming back from a long hiatus and I've probably set the resolution too high. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Run guild wars with the -w (windowed) command line option. You can do this with a command prompt, or by adding it to the "target" line of the shortcut properties. Then you can select a fullscreen resolution from the options menu.

Didn't work. The command line works fine.

"F:\Games\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -w

But it still gives me a black screen that says "Out of range" on it.

Hmm, i never tried -w, but it isn't listed on the command line list of the wiki. You could try -windowed. Otherwise, i'd try hooking it up to another monitor if you can. In my case, every time a resolution wasn't supported by my screen, GW would switch back to 800x600 so i never had that problem.
