Default Graphic Error

Obviously graffic errors are annoying. Having your character stuck somewhere is just no fun, especialy when it's your main and you only have one availible computer. Anyways, thats my exact situation. I'm not mad at Anet or anything because my temporary computer can't handle me some EotN. I'm not even stuck there for long; my comp is back in a few weeks. However,in those weeks I wanna play on my main and not have him stuck in a place I can't rescue him from (I have GWAMM to get.)

So I was wondering, is there anyway I could rescue my character from this "pit of doom" without having someone go directly on my account and rescue him. Could Anet send him back to LA/Kaining ect.? Or do I get to wait it out? Or do I have to trust someone with all my easy to take/delete items (armbraces, armor ect.)

What do you mean by 'stuck'?

Whatever the case, please do not even consider sharing your account information with someone. I assure there will not be the need for such a thing.

edit: moving to Tech, assuming I'm correctly understanding your problem.

Rata Sum is the root of all evil, isn't it.

If you email support they can help you out. However, whether they help you before you get your PC back and can help yourself is another story.

Alright, thanks. Woo support.

And when I say stuck, it means that my character is loaded into an area this computer can't access due to graphics. This means that I can't get this character out of this outpost using my computer. So I am stuck.

Please post your system specifications, there are some fixes and work arounds that may just allow you to access your character and "get the hell out of Dodge" so to speak yourself. However, we need to know the hardware you have in your computer, specifically the video card.

If you know someone with a computer that won't get stuck, you could install GW on it long enough to move your character. The quickest way (if they don't already have GW) would be to copy your entire GW folder onto a flash drive, an ext USB hard drive, or a DVD. Then simply copy it onto the other computer and double click on "gw.exe". (You could actually just run GW from the external drive.)
Or, you could download and install the GW client on the other computer and only play enough to move your character (to minimize the amount to download).

Btw, once GW is installed/running on the other computer, you just need to enter your account name, password, and a character name to access your account. No need to give out your account info.
