Angry error code=227 =S

Hi. This is my first post so ya'll beter be nice to me . Literally just yesterday i went out and bought guild wars new and sealed, installed it on my computer, and made an account following the instructions in the box (i.e to do it through the client and not make a masters account). All done, details and activation key in, when to logon as it told me to... do not recognise login details: error code= 277. Argh! Started to get a bit stressed as i couldn't have possibly typed my e-mail or password in with an error twice. So, i sent off for new passwords (3 times) and didn't recieve one. Then i contacted customer support (like 3 times) got one reply which was of no help to me. After i had a slight rant and fully explained my issue, they said that they would pass my query onto a different department, yesterday, and i haven't heard back. I just want to play my game and i don't know what i've done wrong. I have no way of changing my details because it wasn't made through a master account and i cannot login. I never recieved the activation e-mail either...

So, anyone have any ideas? <(O.o)>

Thanx

well, i think your best bet it to keep contacting support, yes they can be a bit slow but it was the same for me when i was emailing them, it was maybe 1 email back and forth a day, but they have gotten my account back 2-3 times so as i said contacting support is ur best, soon they are going to ask you for your CD keys and make sure to give them to them, and also any other info they might ask for, and when you reply, reply within the green lines xD

email them at: [email protected]

Did you put a character name in the Security Question box below password?

She hasn't got to the stage of making a character yet, Quaker.

Interesting point, though - all us 5 year fogies are used to that security question as it was added fairly recently. I can only assume that that question only gets asked after the first use and initial character creation. Been quite a while since I started a new account.

Actually, he/she/it never said one way or the other, so we'll have to wait & see.

No i don't have a character (its a she by the way ) but the security question is there. It says that if you don't have a character just click on it and leave it blanc which is what i've done :S

I'm having a similar issue, only I bought GW about 3 or 4 years ago, and haven't played it in a looonnnggg time. Just recently I installed it on my new computer and tried to reset my password (since I couldn't remember my old one) and even the reset passwords don't work. I tried that twice. I deleted all my characters cause I didn't think I'd play it again, so I have nothing to fill in as the security question.

(Sorry if I shouldn't post this here, I just thought making another thread is unnecessary since our problems are so similar)

If anyone can help, that would be lovely. Thank you =)
