Basically over the last week or so, GuildWars keeps disconnecting itself every so often, (most annoyingly when im in UW). Its only GW that disconnects, I am still able to load browser.... I cant work it out, any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks (:

Have you noticed if this happens at any specific time of the day?
Some Routers are set up to reconnect after 24 Hours of being online. You wont notice this if you drop from GW and try to load up a Website, because the routers reconnect pretty quickly... it still messes up GW though.

If this is the case, then just set to wake up at 4AM some time and restart the router manually. After that the problems should go away because the router will do its reconnect thing at 4AM every day while you are sleeping.

I've never noticed this happening before though, had this router for about a year and its never done it before, only over the past week. It does it at any random time, it isnt very frequent, maybe once or twice a day, but still annoying as it does it at the worst possible times.

Would it be possible to restart itself more than once per day?

Im not saying that it must be your router. Thats a problem I used to have that sounds similar to yours.

I just noticed it because it happened at the very same time every day after my internet connection crashed and tht Router was forced to restart at somewhere around 9PM on that day and subsequently at 9PM every day from then until I rebooted it manually during the night.

If it happens more than once per day, then it will probably be something else.

Could you post the relevant data for your connection?

Opperating System
LAN Connection type (Wireless, Cable, Powerline)
Router/Wireless adapter type
ISP
theoretical connection speed

should be enough to be able to find weak points if its at your end (Which I highly suspect as I havent heard of others with that problem with GW and I dont have them myself).

I never have problems with any Disconnecting, but today I lost connection 10 times in 10 minutes, not sure whats going on.

It appears that it's not just me, then...

I was disconnected 4 or 5 times in as many minutes, then couldn't reconnect this morning (about 9-10 AM Eastern Time, U.S.).

I tried accessing another game I play, no problem, and connecting to several websites and e-mails didn't have a problem, only when trying to connect to Guild Wars this morning.

Same for me, I keep getting 005 and 007... And also, GWwiki is really slow for me, but any other site is fine
