Default Can not update

Okay...i just tried opening GW, and of course i found that i needed to download the updates for wintersday. However, it always stops before even getting to a quarter. An error message comes up saying "Disk full!" before closing, taking GW with it.
I checked where GW is stored and there's still 13GB of space free...Can anyone give me advice/help?

Is the HDD where GW is your Boot drive, or a satelite drive?

If you have a second HDD, try outsourcing files (Movies, or documents for example) to that one. Dont try to move any files for installed programms, as that would screw up the registry.

Also, empty your Recycle bin and the Cookies/Browser history. That should give you a few GB worth of space if you havent done that in ages.

After you make more space, try to dowload again.

I had a similar issue. I just uninstalled / reinstalled the game. It took a while, but everything is running "smooth as silk" as they say...aside from the load times :-/

Hmm...
Rushin, it wasn't on my boot drive, was on a seperate partition...
Could i be because last time i formatted my comp, i just copied the GW.dat file from a hard drive instead of installing?
Well i'm going to reinstall it as Etaoin did wish me luck!

Try deleteing the Gw's temp file unless you already re-installed.
