Hey guys, after years of playing GW, this is the first problem I've ever had with the game. When I attempt to launch the game through the shortcut, the popup gets to 100%, the full screen launches, but nothing ever pops up. This has only started as of yesterday, and it does not even allow me to minimize the client. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to end the process in order to close the GW client, and it is really bothering me that this problem came out of absolutely no where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you changed any firewall settings? contracted any viruses? You may want to reinstall the gw.dat file.

same thing has happened to me before, usually happens after an update. you might have to reinstall :/ it's what fixed it for me.

lil tip for when (if) you reinstall, right click on guild wars go to properties and after "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" or whatever add a space and -image then run gw so it will download all the content at once, remove the -image when you actually want to get into the game though.

I have not changed anything, and I know I do not have any viruses. I guess I'll just reinstall.
