Holiday Deleted and Delayed
Ah, you got to love the newbie in your team. It seems the GW birthday event was good to go this weekend past but..... a technician (this would be at iEnergizer, India. I think they still handle all the outsourced event stuff for ncsoft) hit the 'purge' button rather than the 'update' button and deleted all the holiday events.
With no backup. Roller Beetle racing gone, Boardwalk gone.. the whole shebang lol. Then had to go begging to old local staff (replaced by the outsourced crew) for backups. Thank goodness a few of them still retain copies for emergencys like this. Disaster avoided. |

come to think of it, I too am suffering the dreaded 'stuck at 0% area loading' bug and have been unable to play for 4 days now. I wonder if the two are connected.

Yes yes, my bad. After further consultation the event wasnt/isnt delayed (although it nearly could have been) but the game info for the event WAS loaded last week and then purged (deleted) from the system by accident.
