Default My game will not go fullscreen...

Hey there,

So, I have had this problem for a bit and has not bothered me until now. Honestly, I am not sure if it is just Guild Wars or other games of the sort. I can play Crysis on fullscreen as well as portal. I have tried to run it in Admin, (yes I know about Alt+Enter, etc). I am just curious if there is something I could. Perhaps, updating drivers. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else has had this problem and etc.

Description of the problem:

Everytime I try to go fullscreen in game, the game screen just goes black. I can hear Guild Wars sounds (music, etc) and see the mouse but there are no 'graphics'.

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated.

Thank you

If Win7, try running the game in compatibility mode for Vista Service Pack 2.

If not, ignore this comment.

Is the resolution the same or lesser as your monitor? If I try to use a resolution greater than my screen, it doesn't work.

It was on my laptop, but Chthon was right. All it needed was to be run in compatibility mode(it is windows 7). Sorry I am a bit of a noob at technology stuff. Thank you very much.
