I am from Europe, but i ussually play in American districts. I changed back to Europe districts after i have got the same problems as you guys. Now i have no lag anymore. Maybe this will work for you too.

I can only play in english districts. When I try to log into a american district it takes 1 min to load, then after ~3-10 seconds my screen freezes.... It forces me to log out
 .Sadly all my characters are in an american district.. after 20+ times trying I managed to be fast enough to get one out of an american district  .This morning I could play, but experienced an enormous amount of lag spikes. Eventually my screen freezed, forcing me to log out. |

Changing to European districts seems to have fixed the problem. Sadly there aren't many people on in those districts, so forming parties for things may be tough. Nonetheless, prepare to die Nulfastu.

I decided when I initially got this problem early this morning to just re-install thinking that usually fixes most of my problems. I wasn't able to even connect to Anet but very intermittently until about a few minutes ago and now I am rolling just fine. Not sure if that helps at all. East Coast here as well.

Can something post a traceroute that is having the issue? I am west coast, southern California, not having a tiny bit of trouble.

Guild Wars won't connect to ArenaNet anymore for me, it stays at 0%. Game was working fine a few hours ago though before taking a break.

I hardly EVER have problems and I'm on west coast maybe it's just a regional lag problem... I see these complaints all the time yet I'm never affected.

Its even worse now, all(YES ALL) dists lag with 16k+ ping and ncsoft webpage loads super slow. even in my guildhall!
