Default Cannot open Texmod

I have tried download Texmod over and over, and for some reason...I cannot even open the program itself. As soon as I click on it, my whole computer lags for a good minute and then it tells me:

I'm running Vista, so I've had issue with things of this nature in the past. However, I shutdown Firewall, antivirus, all that stuff....even tried to run as administrator of course. And still. Nothing. Tried going in it's settings and changing its compatibility to XP pack 2...and ran as admin. still wont even open. Just lags and crashes.

Can anyone help me?

1. Remove all files dowloaded with TexMod.
2. Redownload from here.
3. Unzip, run as administrator, enjoy. There's no need to install anything.

Off top of my head - did you check texmods user config ( permissions ) and made sure its users are correctly set ?

It's the same thing boss.

I've tried downloading it from like 5 or more places already. I just simply can't access it.

Great job, man.

This is exactly how I was able to do it thanks to you and this website guiding me through changing the Permissions
