Default Screen Res problem.

Hello all.

Having a slight issue with playing GW on my desktop atm. It was running fune, but at the wrong screen res, but when i changed it, I clicked on the option below the one i wanted by accident.

My monitor is now having a fit and not displaying anything when I load GW. I can still click things, but can't see what they are (ive managed to minimize it a few times by guessing)

Any thoughts?

I don't know what's causing your problem but pressing alt+enter will toggle between full screen and windowed mode. Maybe you'll be able to see something / fix the resolution if you put it in windowed mode. Not sure if it'll do anything but it's worth a try.

I'm fairly sure it was my oldish screen having a fit, said something wasn't supported over the black background.

But in any case, I can now see enough to fix it, thank you!

As the list usually goes, the one below the one you wanted was most likely too high a rez (or to high a refresh rate, or both) for your monitor to display. It not the result of any flaw in your monitor, you simply asked it to do something it can't.
