Default Really bad lag

I just recently started playing this game again, I'm on my local servers but I have really bad lag, like always between 250-300 and my character is very shaky.

Does anyone know anything that can fix this?

I know it's not my computer because in other games and MMOs my ping is always top notch.

I think its more a route problem connecting to anets servers - yesterday i had very bad lag which was making mantid farming very tedious.Even switched districts from usa to int to english , rebooted pc and router and it was still there.Today it seems its back to normal with no lag or bouncing.
Testing with other games i never go for - its said that gw compared to other games is a bit more intense and demanding but thats never been proven also it can depend where the servers we connect to are located as other games may have servers in better places.

Yeah I don't know, I'm in the UK, does anyone know where the servers are located in Europe?

GW is not a demanding game and that doesn't have anything to do with the network anyway... I don't know, what is the average ping for most people here?

In FPS games my ping will be <20, games like WoW it will be under <40 so... I don't understand why guild wars is so high, is there any "fix" I can try? It's average around 100-150 now but sometimes it spikes to 300.

Thats the average ping for everyone since 2005, between 80 and 400 ms.

Mainly like i said its the routes to the servers , if euro servers were say in france and france had bad storms theres a chance the storms would cause some lag or something.
Just remember that even if your dsl/adsl was say 10 - 20 meg speed it doesnt mean you will connect at that speed. And if with Bt or any other normal adsl isp - we get throttled at certain times due to heavy traffic.
Infact i do wonder how things are affected if the information higways have heavy traffic .

American, international and asian districts have the same ip 64.25.39.xx
Europe districts have different ip 206.127.146.xx
From ip, all the servers are allocated in Texas.
In 2010, european servers were at Frankfurt.
