Hi guys, just wanted to try GW as i was looking at GW2 and when i try to log in, i get the error code 004, anyone know how to fix this etc?

004 is a server error. I just checked and I can log in. If you still have this problem I recommend contacting support: http://www.guildwars.com/support/default.php

I just tested it; i get that error too when i type the account name wrong (at login screen)... i guess it means: this accountname does not exist (otherwise (when the password or charactername is wrong) you would get an error=227)

I've just tried it with another account(cousin wants to try it too), it seems to be exactly the same problem, i try with account name, but then it says it isn't a valid e-mail to log in, then i change to email etc get the same error code. :/

I've triple check passwords, checked my e-mail etc. I don't understand. :S Has it got anything to do with using a trial account? anything special i need to do?

I only tested it with full account... maybe trail account has expired (i dont know if that is even possible as i never used a trail account myself, but i do know you can upgrade a trail to full by adding a key. I assume you need to login for that too)

Right i found out i had to enter in their e-mail(@ncsoft) after my account name, was just digging around and checked it through my account management and just tried it, thanks for the help guys!
