Woo Hoo now I'm a 007 agent, Code 007 lol. Dowloaded the GW2 client this morning, not been able to get back on GW since. Get Code 040 too.

Same, i can log into my account, but when i choose a char i'm stuck in the loading screen until i get the 040 error.

Works fine as usual for me. These issues is usually fixed within a day or so, so stick tight

I think most players are having these errors atm... i blame the birthday event (a lot more players), preparations for the gw2 beta event and probably some crappy servers (these errors happend a lot in 2012).

I haven't been able to log-in all day thanks to 007. Haven't received a reply to my ticket from support either.

I don't know if it'll help you guys, but if you can get to the character selection screen try loading a character in pre-searing.

I got disconnected yesturday when I tried to start the Dragonball Arena and couldn't access the game for a while.

Someone had recently (at the time) suggested loading a pre-searing character in another thread here. I did so, logged in fine, logged out again and could then access my primary character.

If you dont have one, creating a pre-searing character might work too I guess.

WTF!!!

Account 1: 007 error all the way.

Cannot do HA at all....probably because setting up GW2 is messing up GW1 big time.

Account 2: No error at all!

(Both accounts running on same IP/computer)

I downloaded GW2 last night, and did enter my credentials for account 1 at login screen of GW2. Ever since then, my GW1 account 1 is fuked up.

If GW2 beta in any way causes connection issues for GW1, thats just sad

Code 007, 040 and sometimes others. For about 30 hours, I've been able to log on once, after a few thousand tries, kicked me out within minutes tho.

Awesome way to spend this event, it's not like I need lucky/unlucky/alcohol/sweet/party animal titles..

I had terrible problems trying to log on to GW all last night. I could not get on European servers at all. In the end i managed, but of course, there weren't any people on since they probably gave up. I suppose this is because resources are being diverted to GW2, but it is annoying nonetheless.

Geez, i waited like half a day to try to play GW1 again.
After 10 minutes, errors 040 and 007 again :sigh:

What would have been better if Anet just announced to shut down all GW1 servers for a few days becos of GW2,
at least then we know and get what to expect.

Random arenas is just a Pain getting a streak and either you or Member disconnects because of it.

it started at 20:00 (where i live, its 13:08 now) yesterday
