Is there anyone who can forward this to someone in Anet who can do something?
There's obviously a regional issue.

The ISP insists they get good pings and they don't have an issue.

Keep complaining to the ISP or submit a support ticket on NCsoft's site.

constantly ping fluctuations between 100 and OVER 9000!!!!!!!

and no, it's not my computer nor my ISP. gets the same results at home on my desktop, as well as at school (on a T3 connection) on my laptop.

so yeah, the game is basically unplayable.

i did notice a little lag last night but i was still able to complete HoD, DD and ATFH without anything too bad. I thought it was just some of my backround progs and temp files making the lag..

but yes i do notice once in a while there will be a game-wide lagspike where everyone im my Alliance experiences it. other than that im not getting anything that bad, totally playable. i have DSL 7mb thru Qwest.

Been getting pings from as low as 180 (rare) to up to 40k pretty much constantly for the past couple fo days and it is making the game very difficult to play. There are some issues with my ISP (Demon) being a little slow on the pinging but they are consistently bad, and other games like COD4 mirror this where the servers are consistently 100 or so ms above normal.

It would appear GW is failing. :/ Halp?

I think it's my ISP but some of my pings have been bad. I'll start running and the game will hic cuplikeit was forzen for a second and then respond. One time was so awful it was like I was trying to play CRYSIS at max settings. I kid you not. It said only 300-400 but it was like 6 seconds before, even the audio! That was the first time I had to bail out of PvP, it was literally unplayable. But now it seems okay. Very sporadic. For now I'll think it's my side thought I do wish I could have a ping like 100.

I've already posted this elsewhere, but if it helps - Kent, UK to European server, lagged and crashed out yesterday to get an error 005 and had to alter my router, average ping 5000.

Bit better today but my average ping is still over 250.

Seems like its almost exclusively the UK having extreme lag problems at the moment then. Not fun at all.

Certainly everybody on BT Internet services is suffering - we couldn't get on at all for most of yesterday.

No problems on VM here - if its BT related maybe it's the great hole of Ilford?

Still getting problems connecting to the game here and it is really, really frustrating.

Especially since it was working fine this morning and late last night. It seems to have picked up a pattern of having a terrible connection in the middle of the day where the game is completely unplayable, i.e. the game gets stuck on the loading screens. Wheras mornings and to a lesser extent evenings there are very few lag spikes and it runs fine.

Constant 007 errors currently.

No problems connecting or getting kicked, but its day 3 for Crazy Lag Spikes.
My usual 80-120ms Green ping has been subject to Rubberbanding, and Red Dot Spikes up to 35k ping. This was noticable the day before the April Update, and i actually thought it had something to do with the update.
The lag spike hits like every 3-4 min..maby anet is doing something in preperation of the big update were getting for easter?
I know this isnt on my end, and the constant "#$%@ ping" in alliance chat proves that something is very different the past 3 days.

Same issues for me...good one night terrible the next, lagg spikes, rubber banding all over the place, freezing up in the middle of a big fight for like 20 seconds and boom my party is wiped. Was so bad last night I couldnt even get my permabomber to maintain shadow form to get her to the keg bomb location, lag killed till i was at 60% and was warped back to siffala I gave up. This sucks!!

USA/East coast/Virgina

Terrible lag spikes. It's isn't my computer and it's not my internet connection. I'll just be playing with 100ms ping, and then bam! 15k+ ping and disconnect. Which is terrible because it's my only day off of school and work and I can't play.

I have been having horrible pings like Wrath and XG have experienced. I noticed it since last weekend, or after the apr 1 update as well. It shows very wacky rubberbanding on outposts and battlefield, I move and then sends me back several times, high pings 20k+. Usually it doesnt dc me though, but trying to map last night was hell, kept going around map and corners back and forth and into enemies.

I am East Coast on the US, dont know if is a region thing now or what. Not everyone I play with experiences it, seems like only I complained about it yesterday and my guildies were fine. I did connection tests on the net and speeds are fast and low pings, so not sure how related the results are.

Regional thing or Server thing.
The weird thing is some people know what im talking about (LAG) in game, and others say everything is fine, why do some players get it, and others are completly fine?
Is it the server were playing on?

EDIT
If everyone could update their "Location" might help troubleshoot this.
Seems like it isnt just east coast.

I'm East Coast USA - GMT-4. Constant bad lag spikes since yesterday. (Have been getting spikes off and on for over a week.)

1, Finished CoF yesterday (Thursday) morning and was mapping back to Doomlore, when - blam- bad lag and no quest completion recorded.

2. Last night (Thursday) - constant lag spikes while playing game. Was unable to do anything difficult due to inability to keep fighting/moving.

3. This morning (Friday) - less lag, but suddenly disconnected with #0058 error message. Couldn't get back into game for 15 mins.

EST MD had horrible spikes yesterday (at work now). Been bad all week, normal 20 FPS and 100 - 250 ms, this week 45 FPS spikes as high as 15k. All other net related things workings fine only GW servers acting up.
