According to Guild Wards support forums, game will be down from 5pm Pacific until 9pm. Emergency maintenance.

Perhaps they started early, because the lag was horrific to the point of being disconnected. As of right now I cannot connect or load past 0%.

this is most likely to fix the server-wide random disconnects that have been experienced since the August 20th update, hopefully you can actually form a team now.
