Default Guild Wars Wine Connection Problem

Hi

I play GW via my mac mini late 2012 using wineskin, but the connection is so unreliable I cant stay connected even for just 5 minutes some days.

However I can play it via my windows laptop in the same place using the same router and connection. I can't decide whether its my Macs wireless connectivity strength or whether wineskin is interupting my connection some how.

Any ideas?

ps. I prefer to play using my mac because the specs and much better and the monitor is also much much clearer than my laptop.

I use the cider port from theportingteam and it works without network problems for me. There are a few texture problems, but nothing extremely annoying.

Hi Uor

Just wanted to say a big thanks to you! I played GW last night and did not disconnect all the way through my session, the connection problems were obviously down to the wine skin I was using.

BIG THANKS!
