Default Error 007 when salvaging

Due to my endless hours of Sensali farming, I've ended up with stacks upon stacks of Feathered Crests. These need salvaging to be sold as feathers, but I'm having serious trouble doing so.

Besides the massive amount of clicking I'm doing, I'm getting a 007 error after around 25-30 salvaged crests. It happens over and over again. Is this some sort of anti-click-bot kick? (I am not using a bot for this, just fast clicking between crests and salvage kit).

It's rather annoying and certainly doesn't speed up the process. Is there any way to fix this?

Unfortunally no, the only thing you can do is just keep a few seconds in between every xx salvages.
This is a bug in their client that causes disconnects, it also could be a procaution in their client too counter botters from repeating the same action over and over.

Thats the only thing i can come up with for now.

It's due to latence and there's only 1 "speed" rule : don't salvage an item before the previous one is salvaged (so it gave you the materials for it).

It may sound odd, but the same thing used to happen to me when I was using a pre pay internet dongle, but for some reason it stopped happening when I switched over to broadband. Weird huh?

I've always heard this is an anti-botting measure, though never from a developer.

If that's true, perhaps the issue could be solved by salvaging from two stacks at a time. Put the salvage kit in between two crest stacks and go left to right and back again. It's probably easier on your hands/wrists that way too.

It's a good idea but I tested it and it doesn't work. Recently I've been playing with 900-1100 ping on average and each salvage takes roughly 5 seconds to complete. Any attempt to salvage another item during those 5 seconds results in an error 007. Vizi is correct, attempting to salvage two items simultaneously is what causes the error.

I think it has more to do with the amount of salvages left client side and amount of salvages left server side being different (cause stuff hasn't gone through and blah blah blah) and so the server's like who the eff you troll and kicks you off.

Similar to if you try to change whats on your skill bar client side while outside of town the server is all like oh no you didn't.

yeah.
in theory it might work with 2 salvage kits and 2 stacks.

also, feel free to translate this into english.

That was something I hadn't considered, so I decided to test out your hypothesis. Due to my high ping, I was able to attempt to salvage 2 different stacks with 2 different salvage kits before the salvages completed. I still received the 007 error so I think this should confirm my previous post. Any attempt to simultaneously salvage two items will result in the error. I could post a video but I really doubt anyone is that interested besides myself.

I think the reason for the error may be due to the server checking to see if your inventory is full before you salvage an item. Normally, If your inventory is full you'll get a message saying "Your inventory is full.". However when you attempt to salvage items faster than the server can check, you get booted. Just how fast the server can check probably depends on your ping. Just my guess on how and why this happens.

If you have a very low ping and don't salvage items like a speed demon then you shouldn't ever have to worry about it.
