I was in Nightfall when my guild leader told me I needed to go to Zen Daijun. Since my character had already run some Faction quests she run me to Ran Musu Gardens. I left that area and went instead to EOYN. When I came back to Factions I ran the mission to Ran Musu Gardens again with my Nightfall heroes - ignoring the warning. When I finished that portion of the mission Ang would not give me the access to the next part of the mission. Is there anyway to overcome this?

Are you trying this on a faction or nightfall character? There are no quests for nonfaction characters in Shing Jea island. If you are a nightfall just run to Zen Daijun.

Character started in Prophesies and did some missions in Nightfall and quests in Factions. Trying to run the Factions missions to get Signet of Spirits for Ri

You dont need the starter island (shing jea) for that at all. If you character is from prophecies you need to go to Kaineng and do the missions--viznuah square etc. The missions on shing jea are starter missions and NOT required for non-factions characters (only required for the titles).
