Conjure Flame + Armour - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering if anyone had done any testing on whether the conjure flame element of attacks hit the same armour piece as the hit or if the conjure flame element always hits the chest.
This test could be done with 2 pieces of chest armour...
get hit 5 times with chest armour 1 +vs Elemental damage
get hit 5 times with chest armour 2 (no vs Elemental)

If anyone could answer this question or test this out, it would be greatly appreciated. I will endeavour to try and perform this test today, however I have been finding it hard to setup.
