You have to Pre-Order the game at a Game Retailer that's offering it... BestBuy... Futureshop... I'm sure there's a list on the www.guildwars.com website, if you look for it.

Basically, you buy the pre-order (5-10$ usually, and it goes towards your final purchase of the full game) and inside you will find a Beta Event Key... and a Friend's Pass. You use the Beta Event Key to get into the Beta on March 18. (Downloading the client and creating an account, which will ask for the Key, on the Event date)

Once that's done, your character names are reserved for the final release of the game and you're good to go.

Here is the list of the American retailers offering the pre-order. In Canada, I know you can get it at Future Shop... I got mine at EB though

lol, oops, I totally forgot to answer that.

Yes, I've made all of the beta events actually. I love this game... that's all there is to say. For one, the fact that there's no monthly fee, I can't talk enough about. Sure, every 6-8 months an optional expansion will be released that I'll want to buy, but it's a hell of a lot better than the pricing options offered now by any MMORPG or similar game.

I don't play MMORPG's at all... I enjoy mostly PC Games... all the usual, CS, Half Life 2, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, etc.

Also, the game is a real beauty to behold and it plays so smooth. I also love the fact that it's striving for balance among the characters, above all else. This is really important for me as I don't have A LOT of time to spend leveling up. The level cap may be 20, but seriously, that means nothing.

The game only truly begins at that final level.

Seriously though, the best critic is yourself... I recommend that you pick up the Pre-Order for 5 bucks and give it a shot and come to your own conclusions... I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

Personally, it is the best RPG I ever played. Graphics are impressive, music is nice, sounds are well-done, immersion is total, addiction is fatal. I really like the instanced mission feature, and the quests design is awesome.

You have to try it by yourself!

As far as I know there is no in-game talk.

I lovew this game. At first my friend wanted me to preorder it so i could give him a cd key, but I was bored so I figured I'd give it a try. The game is amazing, simply put. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm going to be playing non-stop the next weekend event, except maybe for work.

Ah ok i understand that ... to bad they did have like built in guild speak so guild members could talk to each other or Guild speak for members who are on the same quest.
