I was just curious how, if possible, to customize your hotkeys in guildwars? Say ... to hotkeys your already accustomed to playing?

Yes, in the options window you have a control setup button (disabled until you log in, but you can see it from the login screen).

i believe the control setup info is stored on the server and is specific for that character. if you want that setup for more than one character, you need to change each one specifically.
