last i checked, they do. however, the attack rate on a bow is generally slower than a sword or axe.

Yes, they do. But like Bgnome said, swords and axes are faster.

Attacking with any weapon will gain adrenaline. You also gain adrenaline(at a slower rate) when you take damage- if you're getting focus-fired, you'll fill your adrenaline, even without attacking. A Mo/W can get adrenaline while they're getting focused that would allow them to use defensive adrenal skills like Bonetti's Defense or Watch Yourself, even without attacking at all, or could use their wand for potshots between heals to fill their adrenaline faster. Adrenaline is gained through either attacking or being attacked, regardless of weapon.

I'm pretty sure it hasn't bee changed at all- the warrior I played some during the BWE seemed to gain adrenaline from being attacked(quite slowly, but the adrenaline gain is there), and I know that the weapon you are using has no effect on adrenaline gain, other than the difference in attack speeds.

Adrenaline is what warriors need to use most of their skills. If they hit someone, they get 1 "point" of adrenaline. If they get hit, they have a chance to gain adrenaline. There are also other skills and spells that can give you adrenaline or increase your adrenaline generation. Your character starts off a battle with 0 adrenaline and if you are not fighting it will eventually decay. When you use an adrenline skill, it takes X amount out of your current adrenaline pool. There are also some skills that will take all of your adrenline, such as "Final Thrust". Hope this helped!

Well Virt explained the in game meaning of the word, but the real things is the extra energy you get when your scared or excited.

if you wanted to talk about the real thing, we could get into a lengthy discussion about the endocrine system and sympathetic nervous stimulation, but i doubt you would be interested.

as far as i understood, you do not actually have an adrenaline "pool". each adrenaline skill builds adrenaline independently for every hit, ie you have 3 adrenaline skills on your bar, struck a foe once, then each of those skills gains 1 hit of adrenaline. if you use an adrenaline skill, each one of your other skills loses 1 hit of adrenaline. if you use a "lose all adrenaline" skill, then all your adrenaline skills are reset.

Actually, that's not how it works. You don't have a "current adrenaline pool". When you use an adrenline skill, it is dimmed, and remains so until you gain enough adrenaline to use it again, but there is no common pool that adrenaline skills pull adrenaline out of. Rather, each adrenaline skill requires a specific amount of adrenaline gain to recharge. If two adrenaline skills are recharging, and you gain a point of adrenaline, both skills get a point closer to being recharged (just like if two enegy skills are recharging, and a second ticks by, both skills get a second closer to being recharged). Adrenaline skills have no activation cost at all, but they do require adrenaline to recharge, and if you use an adrenaline skill, the others are set back in their recharge by one.

Adrenaline is a game mechanic quite unlike energy. (Otherwise, what would be the point?) Adrenline is not like energy for adrenline skills, it's like seconds for adrenaline skills. It's not that adrenaline skills require adrenaline instead of energy to activate, rather it's that adrenaline skills require adrenline instead of seconds to recharge. Each hit you make is like a tick of the clock for recharging adrenaline skills. You don't have an adrenaline pool (although each individual adrenaline skill could be thought of as having its own, private pool).
