Nope. I hear a lot of people complain about it, but I've never actually seen it happen. If Gwen's in the way, I just walk around her. How the heck are you people managing to get trapped? There just aren't that many extremely narrow dead end corridors in the game, at least in the areas that Gwen will follow you into. Where are you finding them?

Standing on the edges of overlooks to admire the views while wandering around. That is the most likely way you would get "trapped" by henchmen or pets or gwen. Seems that if you go up to the edge of the place and you "accidentally" find the little corner of accessible walking area, they can be standing right next to you because they follow you as an NPC party, hence blocking you into a spot. Don't worry too much about it. Hang for a moment and gwen/pet/henchmen will politely get idea and move out of the way.

Edit : like you said..you stood still..if she tags along that is your only option...do nothing...she'll wander off in sec or two.

It gets particularly bad during combat, when you get swarmed and need to back off a bit to get some breathing room / defend from a better position, and discover that ~NPC has decided to ignore things like personal space and try and sodomize you. I'm not particularly keen on having my own personal escape route blocker following me around, though clearly YMMV.

Peace,

Last BWE many times i had spent 5 min tryin to get unstuck, One perfect example is right by the entrance to Ashford Alley, Little house on the hill surrounded by grapevines. I went around the back of the house, came to a dead end and she was right behind me, doing spins and falling to her knees. I sent in a few bug reports because she wouldnt budge. Best thing is to stand still and wait for her to run. Still there were many places she entraped me, another was behind a log in a somewhat secret area. Made me crave for a jump command.

I see. Obviously, I don't spend enough time crawling around behind logs or peeking in the back windows of people's houses...

Actually, with BWEs being so short, I really haven't spent any time looking for secret areas and the like. I figured I'd save the in-depth exploring for when the game is released and I have all the time in the world to explore. When I do so, I'll have to remember to tell the brat to stay behind.

It's real easy, just click on her and she says, "Okay, I'll wait here." Click on her again to get her to follow again.

...and as Ensign alluded, Gwen's not the only one that can trap you. Other uncontrolled NPC's and henchmen can trap your character, also.

I found that if you clicked on gwen after she started to follow you she said" I'll just stay here" I left me alone

My problem when I first found Gwen was that the area she blocks is far bigger than her body. Not even henchmen gave me that much problem. But this was when they first introduced the Pre-searing, so I don't know if they fixed that soon after.
