Default Knock down: Stonefist + Meteor Shower

Would Stonefist be able to ensure that the target(s) is unable to move out of the AOE knockdown?

Code:
Stonefist Gauntlets + Glyph of Sacrifice + Meteor Shower.
Insta-cast AOE target lockdown (for ~10secs) with heavy damage. Useless for 3 mins after though. So probably best used in a spike group.

Just a wacky idea I thought up. Would appreciate comments.

Haha, good question, I don't know if stonefirsts affects non-melee knockdowns, I suppose the description says it technically shouldn't, but, they're gauntlets, so it doesn't make sense, either.

Stonefist does improve non-melee knockdowns. As iterated by Ensign and S. Rex here

I'm wondering if it lengthens Meteor Shower's knockdown long enough that you can't move out of the AOE.

Nope, it leaves a tiny time gap.
