How do you get out of Old Ascalon? - Guild Wars Forums

I was told to go to a respawn site just west of the sanitarium but I can't figure how to get out! Please help.

Yeah, I been trying to get out for about 3 hours now, I feel like I went from Guild Wars to Dungeon Siege.

Any help getting out would be appreciated!

Dammit, I've being running around with this stupid monk and any path that seems to lead to where the arrow is pointing me just ends up with me trying to fight a bunch of guys I can't beat.

Yeah, at one stage it was me vs about 20 stalkers.

I think you have to talk to one of the gaurds who will say that Tydus wants you to accompany him on a tour to the Wall. Once you talk to him, you head out to the Wall, and I think that is where the Old Ascalon segment ends.

I have also been told that once you head to the Wall, you cannot return, so you might wanna finish up anything you needed to do before heading there.

(I cannot confirm any of this since I haven't tried it yet, and this is my first BWE.

Also, for the future, try to not skip the dialogues.

BEFORE sir tydus talk to the herald (town crier) close to the gate to lakeside who will direct you to the academy and sir tydus for a quick 100 exp and 10 gold

join the academy go through a quick pvp followed by a mission to clear out some grawls from a cave (dont miss a one of them) go back to the sargent get a cutscene followed by popping into the game propper
