This may sound stupid , But what is a pet ( on GW ) , and how do i go about aquiring one?

A pet is an animal that will fight along side with you, to attain one you'll need the Charm Animal skill, and a charmable animal to use it on.

Note that you'll need to be part Ranger in some way in order to have a pet, and that removing Charm Animal from your skill bar won't delete your pet, it's just that your pet will not appear unless you have that skill equipped.

How to charm a pet. You need to be either a primary or secondary ranger as mentioned. some people may refer to necromancer minions as "pets" but they are much more temporary. ranger pets are known as "animal companions" ingame.
