pouches and rare items - Guild Wars Forums

are there better pouches other than the 5 item one you get in pre?
i noticed there's some emtpy space next to the belt pouch in the inventory.. could that be for more pouches?

what types of rare items are there? so far i've heard blue, purple and yellow. whats the difference?

Yea there are two more bags for items you'll get the ability to obtain a little later in the game

The difference between the colors is that they grant you different kinds of mods on weapons. Blues are pretty much normal weapons with no big effect, purple has mods on it that are pretty nice and usually salvage something decent(like an Insightful Staff head). Yellows come with the better mods and salvage for the best stuff.

You can buy bags for 100g each post searing. And even later you can buy kits that expand the bag sizes from 5 to 10 slots. Perhaps even larger later, I'm not at the end yet.

I found a purple salvageable item today (not a weapon, but one of those "salvageable armors droped by charrs), but I was wondering, should I wait until I can get a Expert Salvage Kit to use it on? or should I just use the normal kit and hope I get something very useful?

YES WAIT!

I wish that I would have waited because you'll usually get one of the 7 normal boring salvages. It'll be worth it to put it in your storage.

Identify it anyway. When you ID stuff it'll unlock without you having to salvage it
