Question Installing on more than on PC...

Hi, i've just bought Guild wars, and i have a dilemma. I am unable to find much detail on the way the game works in the way of save games, and accounts. The main question i'm asking is, is it possible to have the same copy of Guild Wars installed on 2 different machines? I only want to do this because i use 2 PC's (one at each of my parents houses...). I use one more than the other. Therefore can i use the same CD Key for both machines and still be able to play without problems with duplicates? And will i be able to access the same save game/account/configuration? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I also meant to ask - do the save games/configurations save onto the Guild Wars server(s) or on my machine?

no - when you install on the first machine and enter your cd key, that key is essetially "destroyed" and not able to be used for any subsequent installs (except re-installing on the same machine). If you try to install & log on from a second machine, it will tell you it is an invalid cd key for installation, or that the cd key has already been used.

The cd key is tied to your account, or should be. You just need to remember your email address and psw.

Save games are server sided of coarse.... you can install it on as many computers as you want but you can only use the cd key for 1 account. So yes you can play from both of your parents houses but not at the same time unless you have 2 accounts

Er... Okay. Simple Answers.

YES, You can load Guild Wars onto Any or all of your computers and access your account. All account information is saved on THEIR serves. The only things that saves on your computer are world files, patches and ect that you automatically download while you play. Not a big deal, no need to transfer files.

However, While you can use your GW account on any computer with Guild Wars. You must have a new access key for each account you want. CDKeys are not needed to instal a game. They are just needed to set up an account. Once you have an account there is no need to set up another one, unless you want a second one. Then you will need a 2nd CDKey.

So, If your wanting to have one accoutn and use it on two or more computers. Your fine. The only info you need if your account info.

But, If your wanting a different account for each computer, you will either have to purchase another CDKey or copy of the game.
