Default Rune Prices

I have some runes that I can't use, so I want to know a good price to sell them at. I don't want to wait around in town for a few hours for someone to buy them, so I'm ok with selling them a little under what they're worth. So, how much are they worth?

Minor Illusion Magic
Major Death Magic
Superior Fire Magic

Thanks in advance.

I'll take the fire rune. Anyways on subject, i'm no exactly sure what you would price those runes. A good indication is looking at what other people price their runes when selling and buying then take the avarge price, or a little higher or lower depending on how eager you are to sell or on how eager the buyer is on getting the rune.

from my experience buying minors, they usually go around 300gp. depends on the type of magic and buyer. im not sure about majors but i've seen some selling from 500gp to 5K.

Depends on the grade/rarity/usefulness. As mentioned, minor start at 300, and majors from 500 to 5k. Superiors easily start in the thousands and can hit the tens of thousands easy. I've seen superior vigor runes go as high as 80k

Good luck on the minor rune, I sold a minor mesmer rune last night for 25g or what I would get at a merchant because I already had 2, have 10 slots taken up by runes, and keep running out of room while questing. I made the statement if no one bought it I`d sell it to a merchant and a Mesmer came up and bought it. I spent about an hour switching districts almost giving it away.

Someone advertised a Superior Swordsmanship last night and I asked a price. They said 30K and I laughed at them. I refuse to pay the inflated prices I see Sup Runes going for. I`ll just quest till I get one of go without.

for minors, I usually just go to ascalon, and give them away. If someone else wants to waste their time selling them, power to them. Sometimes though you find a newbie and the gift of a rune, even a minor one is a nice thing that makes their game play all that more enjoyable. If people don't enjoy the game, they'll leave. This game would be rather boring if it was only you and your friends on it.
