I think it used to be in presear. I dont know if it still is. But when you get to Droknar's Forge, you can get drunk off your ass drinking Dwarven Ale (about 5 should do it. The more you drink, the funnier it is. 200gold a pint... it better be good beer).

Hunter's Ale is the reward for the quest of killing a bear. You are timed to kill a bear under 2 minutes, and there is a big group of NPC guys standing around in the forest that give you the ale. I'm not sure what it does though, I haven't used it.

I have tried this quest so many time before.. it never worked. I even brought 2 bears next to them and kill them before the 2 minutes time out... but still nothing happened..

Hehe i just went to spend 1platinum on Ale.. Its hillarious. My character started to yell how everything was spinning and how she loves everyone.
Too bad the effect is too short. I'd keep it until i zone out or something

After you kill the bear, you have to talk to the drunkards. It's not obvious which one, just make the rounds talking to all of them (maybe even more than once) till you find one sober enough to communicate with you. Two of my toons are still carrying around hunter's ale. Why? uhhhhh...cuz it's there? It's still different from Dwarven ale and still not many people have it so I guess I'm like special or something.

The Hunter's Ale quest is in Pre-Searing - they're located in the woods between Fort Ranik and Foible's Fair. I haven't used it, but from what I understand, it makes your screen go all fuzzy.

yep, the pre-searing one makes your screen fuzzy and they cheer for you. I posted screenies yesterday about this. I'm too lazy to repost those, but you can look up my posts and find them.

Oh! And thank you ANet for giving life back to the HOBO's.
