Same goes for upgrades - blues always have the lowest or the next to lowest modifiers, while golds always have the highest percentages on all parts.

As far as base properties, though, being rare has no effect at all on what can and cannot spawn. You can get a max rare bow with an 8 req, and the same max bow with a 13 req.

Good to know.

I suppose the exception to this is collector items, before someone says they've seen a perfect blue item.

quick question. Does this mean that the drop rate for rare weapons and items (both purple and gold) are now hard to find?

Hah, I was soloing giants today and got a gold salvage, Super vigor.
