Default How do I report botting?

I found someone advertising a farming bot, how do I report it and have it stopped? I don't want hacks ruining this game too.

Take a screenshot and then go to the Offical Site and look for a link there to file your complaint...

Also, read this post http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=4710

Botting is an executeable file that loads the game and runs a script over and over that makes moves for a character. This is used to play the game while not actually playing the game.

There are a lot of annoying things going on, I think, in the chat channels. I've seen people selling Althea's ashes, people trying to 'social engineer' accounts from others and people advertising 'uncustumize weapon links'.

You see a lot of the above, especially in Ascalon City and other places where there are plenty of peeps from pre-searing.

If you see this kind of garbage, report it. I know I will now, having seen this crap.

I sent an email to support regarding alot of sexually perverse and insulting language that was being thrown around by and at people. I took a screenshot and sent it with a description of what was happening and got good feedback from them.

I assume they looked at the logs from the town and district i had specified and they took it from there.

I even got a thankyou for my interest in keeping guild wars a pleasant experience for everyone.

Unfortunately, they didn't want to share the details of the executioners duties with me, but i'm sure those people were pretty bored for a while afterwards.

Don't be afraid to help stamp out the rule breakers. They do nothing for the community and who knows, maybe our actions will actually help them to grow up a little.

Amen brother.

While I think some people are not capable of growing up they are already adults :P

Screen prints work great for proof, a picture is worth a 1000 words.

And respawning in different locations in the city as well..... How do you take multiple screen shots? Print screen just dumps it to the clipboard....

I'm pretty sure that if you press Print Screen whilst running Guild Wars, the game saves them to a folder in the GW directory called "Screens". Give it a try .
